It's ridiculous...stay away from lycamobile...

Customer support just doesn't exist...

pay a bit extra and enjoy piece of mind from some other service provider.

Or pay a bit less and face hell that's lycamobile....

If you want to be mentally disturbed then only join lycamobile....

In summary, I would not recommend LycaMobile to a friend.

Don't ever try to make a call to customer service. They never respond. I think its waste of keeping a customer service center for lycamobile because they will never respond. Worst network among all the networks is lycamobile. I don't know why you guys keep on maintaining such a worst website, which fits for nothing. Its better to close your store and sit at home, instead of doing time pass by just opening a store.

In summary, I would not recommend LycaMobile to a friend.

Thought I would try them out as their rates for national mobile in Ireland were very attractive however the painful truth soon began to kick in. The service appeared to be working fine for the first week until I tried ringing a Dublin number beginning with 890 this caused a problem as combined with 01-890 the lycamobile network pick this up as a 1890 number and since Premium numbers are not allowed over Lycamobile network it tells you that you are not allowed ring this number. This means any number in Dublin beginning with 890 will not work in theory, I have just tried one so far.

I logged a call and was given a reference number and told it should be resolved within 24 hours, by the way this is after having multiple very frustrating conversations on the telephone with the customer representatives who continuously told me that Premium (1890) numbers are not allowed and can I check the number again. I explained that I could ring the number from a landline and another mobile without any difficulty as it was a normal Dublin number. I bought Lycamobile for the cheap international calls but it's coverage is terrible half the time you can't get a signal so it's pretty near useless.

Lacamobile's call rates are good but the service or the actual aims is zero and cheat.

I bought a sim card and top it up with 20 Euro, 2 months later the sim card was defect, no coverage. I called customer service and I was advice to buy new sim card 2.50 Euro and call the customer service to swap the sim and that if i load 10 Euro credit that I will get the 2.50 Euro for the new sim back plus 300 mb internet free. So, i bought new sim and did exactly as I was instruct. After the swap I top up 10 Euro and my old sim card credit and the new one was merged together but the 2.50 Euro was not refund also, to my greatest surprise 5.81 Euro was cut from my credit 30 minutes later, I called customer service and I was told I will get the 2.50 Euro plus 5.81 Euro back, I waited for two weeks without any refund then I called again and I was told they can not make any refund. first, that i did not top up? typical 1 hour waits for customer service.
will only accept UK credit card, as it can only verify address according to UK postcode.
Website inflexible.
After 1 hour waits to customer service, typically hang up, as customer service is in a bad phone country.

vendors overcharge for sim card without telling you.

In summary, I would not recommend LycaMobile to a friend.
