I have only tried this service today for the first time, and made one call to the US. The service seems brilliant! I installed their app on my mobile, and calling internationally is as easy as calling within the UK--no need to dial extra numbers; just tap the name in your contact list and it is all done for you. Best of all, I have so far paid nothing. I got £1 credit for installing the app, made a long call to America, and still have credit of ninety pence! Customer support is excellent. I could not work out how to use the service (it seemed impossible it could be so simple!), so called the number given on the website, and --despite it being a holiday and after 5 pm-- got immediate answer from a very courteous and patient man. Quality of the sound was excellent, just like talking on a local landline! It remains to be seen if I run into problems with crediting, etc., but I note the adverse reviews are all rather old, so maybe Planet Talk has improved things. For now, I could not be more satisfied!

In summary, I would recommend Planet-Talk to a friend.
