I used planet talk for a few months. The calls were not always clear but due to the value of money continued using it. Then planet talk blocks my account saying I am making too many calls and they needed my bank statement and proof of I'd. After numerous calls and emails to their customer services they did not unblock my account. Moreover they kept the balance of my money and refuse to refund it. I am using Rebtel now and am really happy with their service.

In summary, I would not recommend Planet-Talk to a friend.

Be aware of using this company, I have topped up my account multiple times as my father is very ill back home. Now they have suspended my account because I had multiple top ups. My account is in credit. I’ve asked them to refund my money so I can use another company. They are refusing to refund my money and not willing to lift the suspension until they see my bank statements. Total rip-off merchants.

In summary, I would not recommend Planet-Talk to a friend.

I notice that I am not the only victim of planet talk emptying their account! They took my £57 pounds as I did not top up because I had £57 in my account!!!

How can they keep MY money? Money I had put into an account to use against a service which they did not supply??

Would not recommed to anyone.

I feel totally misled by Planet Talk. I downloaded the app. on my Samsung phone. This is a web based system and the price/call seems to be very cheap. However, when I made the call I was charged not only by Planet Talk but my mobile call provider as well.

What is the purpose of having Planet Talk on my phone then? I could have just called using my expensive mobile call provider.

Total rip off!

They have got to be the worse company I have dealt with, ever, got charged £5.00 for a 4 minute phone call, complained to their useless staff and keep getting fobbed off, avoid this company and tell your friends/family, if enough people complain about these cowboys they will hopefully be out of business soon

I joined this company recently after reading its website. It was not easy to join it. You can not pay online. The payment has to be made by phone. The online account setting is very confusing and annoying. You get an account number and password, still can not access your account online. I spoke to them. They took all sorts of details including my DOB and even after 2 weeks, no communication at all about my account.

Making international calls using mobile phone can be shocking. I was given access no for it. I dialled it, got the recorded message telling my remaining credit and dial the international number. I made several calls on the same day. Real shock came when my mobile phone bill came two days later. None of the calls went through their network even though I was connected to the access number. I have been billed for £108 by my mobile phone provider. On talking to Planet Talk's customer services, initially they agreed to refund the charges but then refused and every time they give different excuses to try to prove that I did not dialled the number correctly. BEWARE -this company steals your money! I went to use myaccount and got a recording saying I had no credit. I knew that could not be the case as I had used it only a week ago and had £8 of credit. So rang and spoke with them and got told if you don't top up every 6 months you will lose whatever credit you have. I said to the guy why on earth would I top up if I still had credit?? It's an excuse for them to take your money, beware!!!!!!!.

I have used Planet Talk for some time now. I have a prepaid account and the service is relatively straight-forward with all the basic features you would expect. However... about four months ago, they had a problem with their billing system, which resulted in my credit card details being corrupted and making it unable for me to use their auto top-up system.

This has lead to an utter frustration in having to wait for up to 20 minutes each time for their "customer service" to answer my calls and fix this. TO date I have called SIX times. Each time they promise me that they have fixed it, take a payment from me there and then, only for me to find out that it still does not work when I try to top up. Most frustrating!! I do not care about any of their features if you cannot put money on the account to use it. Their customer service is the worst!! This is four months and six calls later and they still connot do a simple task such as adding my credit card number to my account.
I do NOT recommend them.
